Cleanup Receipts
Understand what a cleanup selected, removed, skipped, or failed to remove.
Open Activity & Recovery → History → Cleanup receipts after a cleanup. A receipt separates found and selected items from attempted deletions, successful removals, skipped items, and failures.
Understand the totals
Removed file sizes and changes in a volume's free space are different measurements. Other activity on the drive can change free space while cleaning runs. Review both where available.
Review an outcome
Select a receipt to see category totals and reasons for skipped or failed items. Paths appear only when path logging was enabled for that run. You can export receipts for your own records.
Eligible locked-file retries are available for up to 30 minutes in the same session. Kudu checks exclusions and age protections again. After expiry or restart, run a fresh scan.
A receipt records what happened. It does not back up deleted files.
