Who We Are

Kudu is built by Advent Development, Inc., a software studio on a mission to build the best developer tools available. With offices in the United States and South Africa, our team ships products used by thousands of businesses around the world.

What We Build

Kudu is a free, open-source system maintenance suite for Windows, macOS, and Linux. It includes 15+ cleaning and optimization tools, 35+ privacy and security audits, and multi-engine malware scanning with 70+ signature patterns. For teams, Kudu Cloud adds fleet management with 40+ remote commands, 24/7 monitoring, and automated threat remediation.

Beyond Kudu, Advent Development also builds LoadForge, an enterprise load testing platform offering distributed testing across geographic locations, advanced scripting, real-time analytics, and CI/CD integration.

Our Philosophy

We believe system maintenance should be accessible to everyone—not locked behind paywalls or buried in enterprise contracts. That’s why Kudu’s desktop app is free and open source, and always will be. We fund development through Kudu Cloud, so individual users never have to pay.
