Advent Development, Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you interact with our websites, products, or services (collectively, the “Services”), including the Kudu desktop application and Kudu Cloud.

Kudu Desktop Application

The Kudu desktop application does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data by default. All maintenance operations run locally on your device. No telemetry, usage analytics, or crash reports are sent unless you explicitly opt in to Kudu Cloud features.

If you choose to connect your device to Kudu Cloud, the application will transmit system health metrics (CPU usage, memory usage, disk I/O, network throughput) and health report data to our servers. No file paths, file contents, browsing history, passwords, or personally identifiable information is included in this data. Process name sharing is opt-in and disabled by default.

Kudu Cloud

When you create a Kudu Cloud account, we collect your name, email address, and organization details. We also collect device telemetry data from connected devices as described above. This data is used to provide fleet management features including health monitoring, remote commands, compliance checks, and analytics.

Information we collect may be used for purposes such as:

• Providing and maintaining the Services
• Displaying fleet health dashboards and analytics
• Executing remote maintenance commands
• Evaluating compliance against security frameworks
• Responding to inquiries and communications
• Improving features and functionality
• Complying with applicable legal obligations

Sharing, Retention, and Security of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting or technical support, and only to the extent necessary for them to perform those services. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests.

Telemetry data is retained for 30 days by default and pruned automatically. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. All data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS and API keys are stored as SHA-256 hashes.

Your Choices, Updates, and Contact Information

You may choose not to provide certain information to us, though doing so may limit your ability to use some features of the Services. You can disconnect any device from Kudu Cloud at any time from the desktop application settings. Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information under applicable laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Services after any changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
