NVIDIA App
NVIDIA App uses an embedded Chromium browser layer for its interface and online content, which creates HTTP disk cache entries, V8 Code Cache files, GPUCache data, downloaded component and extension CRX archives, and graphics pipeline caches such as GraphiteDawnCache, GrShaderCache, and ShaderCache. These files speed up loading the Home, Drivers, and Discover sections, web-based widgets, and GPU-accelerated UI rendering, while ProgramData logs record completed app and updater activity. Kudu removes only those disposable browser caches and settled logs, leaving your NVIDIA account, downloaded assets, settings, and driver state untouched.
Why clean NVIDIA App?
- Corrupted Chromium disk cache entries can leave the Home or Drivers tabs blank, partially loaded, or stuck showing outdated cards until the cache is rebuilt
- Invalidated V8 Code Cache after an NVIDIA App update can cause unusually slow first launch, delayed tab switching, or a laggy embedded web interface
- GPUCache data compiled against an older graphics driver can become invalid after a driver update, leading to flicker, black panels, or stuttery UI animations

- Accumulated settled logs in ProgramData make troubleshooting folders unnecessarily large and can bury current errors under old updater and app events, even though the logs are no longer needed for normal operation
